Performance in this enclosure
01Is it a sealed driver?
Efficiency bandwidth product places the motor before anything else is decided.
02What the box does to it
0.40 cu ft against a 17.0 L Vas.
03The watts that reach Xmax (in this enclosure)
Travel scales with the square root of power, so there is one wattage that puts the cone exactly on 20.0 mm — and a bigger one once a subsonic filter stops it wasting travel below the passband.
| Param | Value | Unit | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fs | 32.00 | Hz | free-air resonance |
| Qts | 0.520 / 0.550 | 4 / 2 | |
| Vas | 17.00 / 17.00 | L | equivalent compliance |
| Sd | 341.8 | cm² | effective piston area |

Installer's take
The thinPRO 10 is a different class of shallow-mount driver than most of what's in this lineup. The 4.5" voice coil and 750W RMS rating are not spec sheet marketing. That motor structure is legitimately competition-grade in a 2.9" package. In the 0.40 ft³ Micro Series box it performs well above what the enclosure depth suggests on paper.
The impedance selection at checkout matters. Single voice coil means no wiring options, the impedance you select is the load your amplifier sees. Single 4-ohm is the safer match for most amplifiers. Single 2-ohm requires an amplifier explicitly rated at 2 ohms and targets a higher power output from the same amp. Know your amplifier's impedance rating and stable power output before selecting.
The 4.5" depth is the slimmest in the Proline X loaded lineup. If you have a space that won't fit the JL TW3 enclosure at 5.25", this one likely will. Measure carefully. 0.75" makes a difference in tight under-seat applications.

Questions
How does the loaded version differ from buying separately?
The loaded version arrives fully assembled: the thinPRO 10 is mounted inside the M10-S enclosure, sealed, and prewired. This ensures correct alignment, airtight sealing, and eliminates build time or errors. You get a tested, ready-to-play solution instead of having to install components yourself.
Can I remove or swap the subwoofer later?
Yes. Thanks to threaded inserts and high-quality screws, you can remove the thinPRO 10 if needed for service or upgrades without damage to the MDF. However, the enclosure is precisely cut around the thinPRO, so alternate subs may not align perfectly.
Do I need to wire anything?
No. The system is prewired with 12-gauge speaker wire to a high-power terminal cup. Just connect your amplifier’s output and ground/bridge accordingly. No assembly or wiring needed.
Will the thinPRO 10 perform differently when enclosed this way?
No: performance is preserved. The 0.4 cu.ft chamber is tuned for the thinPRO’s parameters. The benefit is a space-efficient, factory-mounted system without compromise in sound.
What amplifier specs should I use?
An amplifier that delivers clean 500–750W RMS into the sub’s impedance is ideal. Because you’re using a sealed design, power control and headroom help with punchy, articulate bass. Browse our recommended amplifiers for optimal matching.
Is the system covered under warranty?
Yes, you receive coverage for both the enclosure and the installed subwoofer under our standard warranty (exceptions apply for misuse). Refer to our Shipping & Warranty Policy for full terms.
Will this fit in tight spaces?
With only 4.5" of depth, it’s one of the slimmest loaded sub solutions available. It can fit behind seats, under floors, or in shallow trunks where conventional boxes can’t.
Why is the thinPRO single voice coil?
The thinPRO line is single voice coil only, in 2 ohm and 4 ohm. Most subwoofers at this level are dual coil, so it catches people out when they are planning wiring. With a single driver your final impedance is simply the coil you chose, which makes amplifier matching simpler rather than harder. Plan from single coil figures and confirm your amplifier is stable at the load before ordering.
